At Jacksons, we have carefully chosen our suppliers to provide our customers with top quality log homes and leisure buildings, summer houses and cabins, BBQ huts, pavilions and gazebos, garages, car ports and sheds. We have a range of suppliers which, come from Finland, Germany and England. Our buildings can be self build or we can arrange for construction and we offer a personal after sales service aiming to provide complete customer satisfaction.

At Jacksons, we have carefully sourced the best range of children’s outdoor play equipment from Jungle Gym in Holland and KBT in Belgium, these have been created by skilled designers and, as safety is top priority, the units have been tested and monitored for quality and safety to meet European standards (EN: 71).

The timbers we provide to go with the kits are specially graded, Scandinavian Redwood, planed to a smooth finish, with round edges. Each unit comes as self assembly, but if you require, our local joiner can construct the play sets for you.

Garden

At Jacksons we have chosen Alexander Rose as our supplier of garden furniture, because we know they are have a dedication to the making of high quality furniture and customer care.

In the traditional range there is a selection of different woods to choose from: Teak, Mahogany, Karri and Pine, all of which are FSC certified. In the designer range there is an inspiring collection of Stainless Steel, Teak, Textilene, Aluminium and Polyethylene Weave (ViroTM) to suit any garden and location.

The range covers, tables and chairs, reclining chairs, rocking chairs, deck chairs, recliners, sofas, side tables, benches, day beds and parasols. For the children there is a very cute table and chair set and 2’ bench.

We also supply rectangular and round picnic tables to seat 8.

Fencing / Timber Supplies

At Jacksons we only use the highest quality Scandanavian Redwood for our decking and hand made gates for which we have a superior reputation. We also stock a full range of top quality fencing materials, all of which are pressure treated.

Wood Treatments

At Jacksons, we can supply the full range of Osmo natural wood finishes for the colour and protection of exterior woods, especially for the treatment of log houses, summer buildings, timber cladding, roof overhangs, balcony elements, decking, garden furniture, windows and doors.

Osmo also do a range for the colour and protection of interior woods for use on wooden floors, wooden furniture, interior panelling and childrens’ toys.

Osmo developed their range of natural wood finishes in the 1960’s as they were annoyed with cracking and peeling lacquers and their extensive research and development has led to the creation of the Osmo Colour facility using healthy ingredients such as sunflower, soya, linseed and thistle oils.

Also at Jacksons we have our own pressure treatment tank for the treatment of softwoods for outdoor use, such as gates, fencing and decking.

The treatment we use is Wolmanit CX, which was developed by Wolman of the BASF Group. Wolman has been in the forefront of timber treatment technologies for a century and pioneered the development of environmentally advanced, low-hazard preservatives that retain superb performance in service and conform to BS 8417.

Accessories/Miscellaneous

At Jacksons, we pride ourselves in stocking the finest quality screws, fixtures and gate fittings.

For general joinery, we have chosen Reisser screws and we stock the R2 Cutter range.

For heavy duty construction projects, we have chosen OSC Carpenters Mate who produce a range of Fasten Master timber fasteners and we stock the Timberlok and Headlok ranges.

For gate and fencing accessories, we have chosen Birkdale, we stock a a range of galvanised gate fittings and can supply any item for the Birkdale range.
